Which is mainly talking about the influence provided by the developing of the technology and social media to our education system in the recent years. This article indicates that the internet is revolutionizing Education greatly in the past few decades and with using the new tools of social media such as twitter the academic life have been changed enormously. To many, Twitter is nothing but a distraction, but with recent studies, it is apparent that Twitter can actually encourage engagement within the classroom, and help the student to get better grades in their courses.(Infographic: College Students - Is Twitter Hurting Your Grades? According to the infographic, 94% of the first year college students are using the social media such as Twitter or Facebook. With this large scale of the user, there comes a study about if the Twitter can make a positive impact in education.with the experiment goes on, the Tweets became active as the semester progressed.The experimental group is using Twitter during their academic lives.For example,finishing assignment,online discussion or group project.Since the media is their favorite one, they got highly participated in using this media and solve the problems that ordered in or out of class. From the result, the infographic shows that the group that uses Twitter as the daily studying media got the twice the number of the engagement than the traditional group.And the Twitter groups’ average GPA was 0.51 higher than the traditional group.This result shows that the proper used of the social media can in a way improve students’ academic performance
