The author, Matthew Lynch states in the introduction of his book that the main idea, “offers a blueprint for educational success, not only for the present, but for the decades to come." This book explains a structured guideline of education's successes and failures. He pays particular attention to the fact of Americans need to change and reform the school systems, but he doesn’t offer the causes or reasons on why the systems need to change: along with not offering the guidance of directions in order to fix the situations.
