فقد ثبت في الحديث الصحيح أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: افترقت اليهود على إحدى وسبعين فرقة، وافترقت النصارى على اثنتين وسبعين فرقة، وستفترق هذه الأمة على ثلاث وسبعين فرقة كلها في النار إلا واحدة، قيل: من هي يا رسول الله؟ قال: من كان على مثل ما أنا عليه وأصحابي. وفي بعض الروايات: هي الجماعة. رواه أبو داود والترمذي وابن ماجه والحاكم، وقال: صحيح على شرط مسلم . It is proven in the authentic Hadith that the Prophet peace be upon him said: Jews divided to seventy one bands, and the Christians split to seventy-two bands, and this nation ( Muslims) will split on the seventy-three sects, all in the fire except one, it was said: Who is he O Messenger of Allah? He said: Who was on what I like and my Sahabahs. In some riwayats: is the group (Jama’ah). Narrated by Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah and Hakeem, and said: Shahih in Muslim condition. After we read the Hadits above and We see the situation of our today’s Muslims world, how they are divided and fighting one another we find that we are fulfilling the prophesy of the Hadits. “And verily, this is my Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path...” The Holy Qur’an (Al-An'am 6:153) Allah has shown the right path to the believers (Muslims) and warns them not to dispute and fighting with one another, and tells them its consequences, so they not deviate from Allah Path, and Allah does not take their strength and courage. If we see the situation of today’s Muslim world we will find it exactly opposite of the verses above. Allah said “and obey Allah and His Messenger “ we do not Obey Allah and His Messenger.
