Annotated Bibliography On America's Viewing Habits

1669 Words7 Pages

This bibliography will allow me to create an organization pattern for my paper that allows me to focus my research on one specific thing. The focus of my bibliography is on Netflix’s ideals, teenagers viewing habits, American’s viewing habits, and the reasons people binge watch. People interested in this topic would be anyone wanting to change their viewing habits of Netflix, or just those curious on how they compare to others habits. When searching for sources I chose those I thought had a wide range of information or solid statistics to back up their points. I searched for “binge watching”, “Netflix binge”, and “teen Netflix”. I didn’t use the sources that didn’t have much information in it or were focused on children’s habits.

This is relevant because it explains some of the reasoning people have to binge watch which will relate to my subjects decisions on binge watching.

She claims that Netflix has made us less social and takes away a sense of connectedness because instead of coming together as one viewing group we all view things on our own. I believe these are strong claims however I also believe they can easily be refuted.
