George Washington: An Annotated Bibliography
George Washington lived a very purposeful life as a young man to adult. Although he had many losses versus winnings, he held high morals and values for what he believed in. Washington lived and died in Mount Vernon, Virginia leaving a legacy of a great president and a successful nation he created.

This autobiography source about all of George Washington’s life was extremely clear and easy to comprehend. Not only did it tell me about his family’s timeline and history, but his military and political career ending into his presidency of the United States. I happened to find the article very entertaining and informative as well as easy to read for all audiences. It was very detailed of how George Washington set an example to others as how they were to be presented if they were to serve in his military. The educational article also explained that the uniform is kept under safe keeping at all times, and it is believed that George Washington’s uniforms from the Revolutionary war period do not exist. I found this to be extremely educational and informative to the history of our military’s uniforms as well as the moral and values when taking pride while …show more content…

The journal explains that the Durham boats they used in the surprise attack was the key to winning the battle by going into detail on how they were built, used, and what they carried in them. I found this article to be fascinating and informative to the understanding of how genius and creative our military was to be due to lack of resources and technology.
