Summary: Advocates petition on police officers to stop giving tickets and arresting the Homeless of Downtown San Diego. On Tuesday January 3, 2017 advocates garden 1100 signatures to stop the unfair treatment to people who leave on the streets of San Diego. until housing solution gets resolve. They also demanded solutions to stop the increase of homelessness. For the past two years people who live on the streets has increased instead of declining.
There are several trivial mistakes, including entries not being in alphabetical order and the unfortunate oversight of the page being titled incorrectly as “Work Cited” instead of “Works Cited” (Aaron 445). Formatting blunders include the omission of access dates on the two undated web sources (Aaron 469) and the entry for Sean Posey’s article “A Country Walking Dead: The Zombie as Metaphor in American Culture and Film” as the publisher and the website title are the same (Aaron 468). The film that is included on the works-cited page, Doc of the Dead, is listed as though the author saw the film in a theater, which seems unlikely as the documentary was released two years prior to the date of the essay. Of the six sources listed on Student’s Works Cited page, three are used incorrectly, and one newspaper article authored by Rick Allen is recorded despite not being referenced in the essay. Student’s essay seems to rely heavily on the two remaining sources, the Doc of the Dead documentary film and Sean Posey’s article for The Hampton Institute.

Millions of people including families ,children, elder, babies , veterans live day after day without water ,food or a roof over their heads. The number of homeless, families with children and elder has considerably over the past decade or so. They are together the fast, growing portion of the homeless population. There are together almost 40% of all people who are homeless.
Homelessness is one the most ignored problems in the United States with citizen and politician. Homeless people are walked by and ignored. Nobody ever thinks that they will be homeless. Due to the economy, people live paycheck to paycheck making house payments very difficult. Most people will want to believe most homeless people are drug addicts or alcoholics, but most people will be surprise to know that it is no all true.
With the prevalence of media’s image of homeless people, everyday Americans have rationalized homeless people as lazy, unmotivated, and “grouchy” individuals. American television shows targeted to young children such as Sesame Street have incorporated stereotypical dialogue regarding homeless individuals such as “grouch”. Furthermore, politicians see homeless people as dead-end citizens that cannot be changed. Overall, the stereotypes regarding homeless people paint a picture of individuals as being hopeless, lazy, and incompetent members of society. The contributing factors for such stereotypes come from historical events that illustrate the origins of homelessness in America.
The issue of homelessness in America has been evident since the early 1600’s. Across the country men, women and children spend their nights on the streets not knowing when or if they will ever find a permanent home. States and federal officials or city councils have tried to alleviate or at least reduce the number of homeless over the last several decades at a city, state or national level but it continues to be an ongoing problem. There is a multitude of factors that account for the growing homeless population that affects each state in the country differently. Though there are many contributing factors that contribute to the amount of people living on the street at any given night in the U.S.
