Anonymous, the online hacktivist group notorious for its successful cyber-attacks against various big players including the governments and intelligence agencies has declared war against the ISIS in the wake of recent terror attacks in Paris. It is worth noting that when Anonymous warned ISIS of its attack, the militant organization called Anonymous “Idiots”, and now Anonymous wants to show ISIS what its idiot members can really do. As reported by The Atlantic, there were more than 46,000 Twitter accounts affiliated to ISIS having an average of 1,000 followers each. ISIS also uses the popular encrypted instant messaging app Telegram for spreading its message of terror, and is believed to have more than 100,000 followers on the secure messaging platform. The militant group is also maintaining a 24×7 Jihadi Help Desk for assisting its foot soldiers spread the message of terror, recruit new members, and launching new attacks. Anonymous Wants Public To Take The War To ISIS Considering the fact, that it will take them too much time to take down all ISIS-affiliated handles and accounts on the web, Anonymous wants the public to join the cyber-war against terror.
