Anslem Kiefer has been the most successful artist to come out Germany to date. At age of 24, the young law student became influenced by the political and cultural tensions of the national identity of Germany. Working form an experimental place, Kiefer spontaneous paintings are strikingly intense and moody. Kiefer's Lilith series (1991) is associated with disease, sexuality and the night. This narrative exhibits isolation of the psycho spiritual subtext of grim realities. The visual representation depicts theologies and Jewish mythology. The Breaking of the vessel (2000) is also another example of this historical subtext of identity being explored by Kiefer. Kiefer's work continues to develop into installation and three dimensional embodiments. The psychological themes of truth finding are still being conflicted into the subject manner of his works. The women of Antiquity (2010) is seen as a visual silences of love with hate by creating a unity of truth finding. In this body of work the mother and her off spring are the focal point of the depiction. This narrative Lilith is based on character known in many faiths, theologies and Jewish mythology. The Lilith series shows the female figure emerging form the background in a hollow gown, playing with the illusion of the psycho spiritual subtext. Lilith is often depicted as a demon with wings and long wild hair. She is associated with disease, sexuality, storms and night. This spiritual belief or representation directs the works to the emptiness of the dress. This explores ideas of angels, demons, lovers and victims, to suggest balance of the uninhabited absence of the form. Many mythical Jewish figures appeared within Kiefer work, by how he demonstrates space. Especially in this series of
