I agree with kaepernick because the actions that police have been making (especially to blacks) is unbelievably horrible. For example Amadou Diallo, Manuel Loggins jr, Ronald Madison, Kendra James, Sean Bell, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Alton Sterling are all African Americans and have all been killed by a one cop or more. So I see where kaepernick’s coming from and if i was him I’d probably do the same thing. This article doesn 't really talk about Colin Kaepernick and his anthem protest it mostly talks about the anthem and how it’s played before a game of NBA and NFL etc.

This Science Fiction book would be unknown since the Author didn’t exactly give the time in the book. In the book Anthem there wasn’t any clues or hints that it took place in 1900’s or the 2000’s. Ayn Rand is a Russian-American novelist and she is known for writing books.
Individuality’s Role in Society Anthem is a dystopian novel written by Russian author Ayn Rand in 1937. Ayn Rand was avid about the importance of the individual, and she supported a hands off government, where the people define and sustain themselves. Ayn Rand’s interest in the government’s effect on society certainly led into her creation of Anthem. At the start of the novel, Equality 7-2521, the protagonist, writes from a secluded tunnel and shares about the dystopian society he lives in which prevents education, and individualism. The society prevents individuals from learning on their own, having questions, doubting their elders, and threatens any sort of rebellion or individuality with extreme punishment.
How Does One Lead a Rational Life in the Great Rebirth Ayn Rand is an illustrious writer, known for many of her works including the short novella Anthem and her short essay How Does One Lead a Rational Life in an Irrational Society. In Anthem, she speaks of a dystopian world set in the future with primitive technology. The Council expects everybody to look, act, and generally be the same as one another; however, Equality, the main character of Anthem, does not conform to the social norm. He rebels from the cookie-cutter system and learns to see the deep err in the way of the Council and finally realises the effects that the abusive treatment of the citizens creates.
Anthem (by Ayn Rand) is a satire written in first person diary form. It's in a futuristic dystopia near the mountains. There is no individualism whatsoever. You can't show any preference towards anything or anyone. Your world is white.

The rebellious actions of Equality 7-2521 in Ayn Rand’s novella Anthem portray this exact situation. Frustrated by the extreme collectivist laws of his society, Equality breaks them and bases his behavior on his personal beliefs alone. The monotony of the conformist culture pushes Equality to deviate from his brothers and create his own identity.
The tone of authors throughout the world varies greatly based on their intentions for writing. In the case of Anthem, author Ayn Rand invents a dystopian society in which collectivism is promoted in great favor over individualism. One character, however, pushes the boundaries and embraces a sense of independence. Rand likely desired audiences to take her views presented in her novel into consideration. Accordingly, for the purpose of creating a serious relationship with its readers, Anthem adopts a reverent tone by utilizing formal language and addressing critical subjects.
In our society, people are motivated in lots of different ways. This can create both positives, such as putting a man on the moon, and negatives, such as war and starving people. Anthem is a story about a man who is going against his collectivist society in his search for individuality. Equality’s main motivation is to discover new things and new ideas in the world around him, as well as to try to figure out who he is as an individual. His motivation is correct because he enables the thought of free will, and the world could become a better place if everyone was motivated like Equality.
Anthem is a story written by Ayn Rand as a propaganda piece portraying the evils of communism. The book takes place in the future in a undisclosed city surrounded by forest. In this city a collectivist society dwells. The conflict of Anthem is character vs. society where one man by the name of Equality decides to go against his broken government. Equality took a stand against his broken society, he has defied the council of scholars and his government, had a relation with a women, and escaped the city to The Uncharted Forest.

Well, in Anthem by Ayn Rand, the government is terrible and unstable, which causes Equality to lose his freedom and individuality. Anthem the main characters live in a dystopian society. This a society where the government laws and code are unfair. The laws are unnecessary because for a small crime, there are big consequences.

Throughout both stories, they are searching for freedom and in some ways that ties back to wanting identity and individuality. ”
