Cleopatra is Antony’s lover and the queen of Egypt. Cleopatra is pleased that Antony is in love with her and she feels that she has control over him. Although she tends to not show of her emotions, there is not a doubt that she also is fond of Antony.

3. Octavius Caesar is the adopted son of Julius Caesar. Octavius rules the Roman Empire with Antony and Lepidus. The purpose was to show that you should not be dishonest especially if you are a ruler.
The theme is that not everyone is your friend and that you cannot trust everyone.
11. If you were to design a set for this play, what comes to mind immediately? What colors would you use? What kinds of shapes? What kind of lines? What textures do you imagine? Describe what is would look like.
I would use military uniforms to signify war and a type of battlefield to display the war. I would use the color red to display love and bloodshed and black to display darkness and confusion. I would use the shape of multiple circles to display the curves snakes have, which killed Cleopatra and also displays the type of people that Antony considered honest. I would use the textures bumpy and curvy to show that being a leader is not easy and that it is easy to go down a sinuous path.
