Anzac day is one of Australia’s most significant national commemorative occasions that exist to this day. Anzac day is on the 25th of April and has originated from Anzac day in 1916. On the 25th of April 1915 during World War 1 Australia and New Zealand soldiers formed an allied army to set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. This is now known as the Anzacs and the pride they showed during world war. ANZAC day is purely a time for Australians to remember the anguish of war and promote challengers for the past enemies, and praise the soldiers. Yet to this day we put the true meaning behind us and celebrate not war but are society’s features and characteristics among us.
