1. INT. UNIVERSITY HALLWAY. DAY The hallway is cold and lonely. Sam is wearing unflattering clothes, no make up, her hair is in a braid. She leans on the wall slouched, she sighs. She stares at her paper marked C+. Eva (20 years) walks out to the hallway. Eva is wearing stylish clothes, wearing makeup and has beautiful flowing hair. Eva walks by smiling. EXT. ROAD. DAY The sky is clear. Sam is walking home, her posture is poor. Eva is walking in front of Sam. Eva is on the phone laughing. Sam looks annoyingly at Eva, she crosses her arms. Eva cuts the call and walks in to her house. Sam looks at Eva’s home as she walks pass. 3. INT. HOUSE. DAY Sam walks to up to her front door. She knocks on the door twice slowly. No one answers the door. She clenches her teeth n knocks on the door frantically. Her mother opens the door and tries to hug her. Sam’s teeth are still clenched and pushes her mother away. She goes to her room throws her bag and slams the door. 4. INT. SAM’S ROOM. DAY. The curtains in the room are closed. The room is lit in a dark orange from the bright sun light outside. The sun is setting and the atmosphere is getting darker. Sam passes Eva's house. The curtains are open in one window and the light is on. Sam stares at the window and Sam expression changes from blankness to horror. Through the window of the house she sees Eva getting slapped by her mother multiple times. Eva falls down but her mother continues to beat her. Sam is terrified. Eva gets up sobbing and looks out of the window. Eva and Sam’s eyes meet. They stare at each other. Eva breaks from the gaze and rushes to closes her curtains. Sam runs home in horror. 6. INT. HOUSE. DAY Sam rushes in to the house and her mother is at the door to welcome her home. Sam hugs her mother tightly. She looks at her mother. Her mother strokes her head lovingly and kisses her forehead. Sam smiles in relief. 7. EXT. ROAD. DAY It’s a sunny clear day. Sam is walking down the road, staring at her phone. Sam is wearing stylish clothes and has make up on. She looks beautiful and happy. She bumps into Eva. They stare at each other blankly.
