More differences are how the rites of passages are played out in apache girls rite of passage there are multiple girl going through the rite of passage at a time but in the medicine bag it is only martin and his grandpa in the same room not to mention The medicines bags rite of passage takes probably 2 hours but in apache girls rite of passage it takes 4 days representing the stages of life child, teen, adult, and elder.
