The title of the fantasy book The Trials of Apollo The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan. The Dark Prophecy is 414 pages long and received a 5/5 from DOGO books commenting on its humor for the younger generation of people reading it an example of how it interests the younger generation is by memes. This book is a good read for any age ranging from 5th grade and beyond. The main character Apollo/Lester Papadopoulos is the god Apollo except that after the blood of Olympus Zeus blamed Apollo for possibly causing the war of the giants this then made Zeus very angry so he stripped Apollo of his godly ness. At the beginning of the book Apollo is with some pretty other important character these character being the Demigod Leo son of Hephaestus the god of tinkering the other two being Calypso son of Atlas and Festus the bronze dragon. The first event in the book is our three main heroes or attacked blemmyae and taken to the waystation this is where most events take place. The second main event is at the waystation another character Agamethus uses the magic 8 ball the ball says Apollo must bring her home. The third main event is the goddess of nets Britomartis sends them on a quest to get her griffins and as a reward she will tell them how to break into the emperor's castle. The fourth major event is while rescuing the griffins the emperor tries to take them prisoner but right as they are about to escape Calypso temporally regained her magic. The fifth major event is they attack the emperor's castle to take back the thorn of memory. After that they go to the dark oracle get their prophecy and take out the emperor. The main conflict is there is three emperors that managed to make themselves minor gods but now they are trying to become rulers of all
