Apple VS Microsoft : Battle of the techies There has always been a battle of the of the companies. Microsoft and Apple are two of the largest tech companies in the world, and they are at odds most of the time, Making similar technology and gadgets. Some of their gadgets are similar And some of their tech is completely differentiated from the software and gadgets that the opposing company has. Microsoft has built many different software applications and technical gadgets over the years and many of them have acquired the company vast amounts of money. Microsoft's main business comes from their Operating system called windows. Windows is the most used operating system in the world

Apple's main business comes from the extensive line of smartphones that the company creates and sells. Their brand of phones is arguably the most common phone used today. Iphones are powered by another one of apple's inventions. IOS is the operating system that Apple created to power their brand of phone, IOS is currently in its ninth incarnation and is still being developed more and more. Another one of Apple's inventions is their Line of Home computers called Macs, short for macintosh, which use the Operating system OS X which is also made by apple. OSX is commonly used by Businesses and artists as OSX is not geared towards gaming and recreation use. Macs are open hardware compatible and sometime use nonstandard Dual CPU motherboards making them good for fast rendering and computing for users. Apple also has an expensive line of watches called apple watches. They are like tiny little apple phones on your wrist. Apple has an underused email service with the attachment

Both Microsoft and apple have their own brand of phone. Apple owning the rights to the Iphone, A highly renowned smart phone and one of the most commonly used phone. Microsoft also has their own brand of phone, named the Windows phone. Both phones have voice assistants, windows being named cortana after popular AI character Cortana from the HALO franchise, and Iphone's voice assistant being named siri after the stanford research institute where she was developed. Both of these companies have also created their own mobile operating systems. Microsoft powers and operates their phones using a Mobile operating system named Windows mobile. Apple powers their phones using a Mobile operating system called IOS which stands for I operating system. Another similarity of these companies is that both have developed and launched operating system for personal home computers. Apple has created OSX and Microsoft has created Windows. Both of these creations are used similarly to power and operate computers. While both are used for vastly different things we will get to that later.
