In advertisements, the companies are attempting to persuade their audience that their product is effective to the consumers’ lifestyle. They want to reach out to the consumers in any way possible. Companies want consumers to feel as if they need the product, where if they purchased the product their life would be so much better. Companies make advertisements to allure the audience in, seek their attention, and then grabbing it. Companies make commercials often to sell dreams to their audience, but the company Apple is turning dreams into a reality. Logos mean that businesses are using reasoning to appeal to their buyers. By using logos, Apple is demonstrating how the targeted audience should buy the iPhone 5s to accomplish “Dreams”. In hoping or dreaming of becoming maybe a meteorologist, nurse, jeweler, ect.. The company Apple is showing different people using the iPhone 5s to accomplish some type of task. The iPhone 5s is showing a form of completion to the consumers’ lifestyle. The company wants their audience that’s dreaming, to believe that they can complete their lifestyle with the iPhone 5s. It is appealing to the audience’s emotions, through their use of pathos also. The company is trying to say to their targeted audience that with the iPhone 5s, they are capable of creating a world of where they belong. The company wants their audience not only grow but start their growing with the iPhone 5s. They sing “When I grow up I’ll be the hero of my storybook. I’ll start off at zero, and rise and fall, rise and fall again” (Dreams). Indicating that with the iPhone 5s consumers will start their story book, even though people generally rise and fall; with the iPhone 5s they will be the hero. The commercial is displaying a soft affection to their viewers. The song also said “I’ll be good and strong, I’ll create a world where I belong” (Dreams). Apple want their audience to believe that they can change the world, but its starts with the iPhone 5s. The commercial music is effective its audience because it is giving the consumers the drive of wanting to start their storybook and the use the iPhone 5s to complete
