In college, you apply yourself to learn something but it’s useless to if you don’t have a path that you plan to follow. I recently took a personality test to see what jobs would match me best. Looking at the list most of them I never had in mind. This is good to look at during my college experience because it shows me more of what I can go into. Based on my previous achievements, I really should consider jobs that don’t just require a high school diploma.
During high school I made honor roll all 4 years and graduated with a 3.6 grade point average. I accomplished not just because I was told too. Playing sports like football and dropping seventy pounds in body weight my senior year really motivated me. It made me realize I can do anything if I try. I strived for high grades so that I could be something more than just some grunt work just to live. I want to do something I enjoy. I enjoy watching movies most out of everything I’ve ever done and being a part of a movie would really excite me. Key PA’s are the first in command for on set operations. These assistants manage equipment for the set and the direction of background actions. The duty of the key PA’s is also to manage crowd control and assist in the functioning of the filming process with the crew. This job does require prior experience with film equipment and being on an actual set. Another good job to pick is a Boom operator. Boom operators don’t actually just control the explosions; they are in charge of mic placement and setting them up. The boom operators also hold the boom mics and cables while monitoring the headphones for the boom
