Master of Science: Human Resource Management
Coming from a family of immigrants, education was always the first things on my list of priorities when growing up. In my household, I was taught that it is the only thing that will save me from the financial strife’s that my family had to go through. Through my younger years, I never realized my actual educational potential, until my last academic year in high school. I had begun applying for enrollment opportunities within a selected few of higher learning institutions, Johnson and Wales University (Miami) was at the top of my list. Before long, I had received an acceptance offer from my top choice. This was the beginning of my college career and allowed me to feel as if I were worthy for college. Although I was unable to attend, due to family restrictions that forced me to stay in North Florida, I still have a dream of having my Alma Mater, be Johnson and Wales University. In 5 years I plan to start a family in a location where we can reside happily and securely. I have never been an entrepreneurial minded person that is willing to take risk with my life, I have always known myself to be interested in climbing a career ladder and working hard for each goal I accomplish. Nothing has every came to me easily, so working hard is something that I incorporate into everything I do. In an ideal situation, my future holds me in a Human Resource Management position. Through my years in undergraduate studies, I have grown to admire the field of Human Resource Management. My preference for Human Resource Management more than likely comes from the hard work in which I put into learning, and applying the skills which I acquired.
