Over the last three years, I have received the necessary grounding in basic engineering, Basic Oil Well drilling, Basic Petroleum Geology, drilling and drilling fluids technology, reservoir engineering, Petroleum Production Engineering, Well logging, Applied geophysics, reservoir modeling and simulation, petroleum economics, natural gas engineering, enhanced oil recovery from the Halliburton Online University, scheduled training’s etc. A number of relevant courses were also studied during my undergraduate program. During these three years at the job I have participated in a number of research and development projects. I was responsible for designing MWD/LWD tool configurations based on the drilling application. This gave me further understanding of how the tools interact with the reservoir. My excellent performance on the job gave me opportunities to travel to the USA and other parts of the world on trainings, where I have learned about many of the latest technologies in the field. My exceptional performance in these training’s came with no small accolades as I was the overall best in class 2015 and a letter of congratulations sent on my behalf to my country
