Everyone in this world is born with pure evil and selfishness inside their veins, it's inevitable, but it's how that person grows and blossoms into a better person, that's what matters. I believe that it's so crucial to respect and appreciate the simple things in life and focus on things that cannot be bought. Diverting back to the quote, we should all be happy that we're alive and have been given the opportunity to live our lives in any way we please. Appreciation is based all on mentality, if you tell yourself what you have is enough and you're content you will be, I guarantee. We should all appreciate the way the waves glide rapidly along the rocks in the ocean, or how the clouds always look so fluffy, or how the mountains are perfectly aligned and create such structured barriers and beauty for us, or how the sun can warm our skin, or even how the rain smells so lovely and looks so pretty printed on your window. There is so so much to look at on this planet that we as humans need to sit down and comprehend the importance of it all.
