I believe that Romeo seems brash, naive, and reckless because of his hasty decision to move to Juliet so shortly after losing interest Rosaline. He seems to live his life out on a whim without much real regard for himself, the people around him, and his surroundings. He is caught up in his own fervour, not realising what he is doing is ludicrous. His heedlessness perfectly exemplifies the strength of love. Love can ultimately force people to do things they otherwise wouldn’t, it can invoke thoughts and ideas that make little to no sense. Love is scary but lovely thing, and Romeo and Juliet illustrates the nuances and complexities of young love in an amazing way. The name “Romeo” is even used as a name for someone who gets caught up and immersed
