Homelessness. The state of not having a home. This is a large problem in America. 564,708 people in this nation suffer this fate and that number on the rise. According to Socialsolutions.com, 15 percent of these people have disabilities. Is it right to not help these people? The people who are vulnerable, need support and encouragement to navigate through their lives. Do we just throw them to the side and forget about them? And what about the veterans, the 1.4 million veterans who are at risk of homelessness? The same veterans who risk their lives to fight for our country, protect our freedom, and keep us safe.
