Pursuing the American Dream The American Dream, which is actually a supreme reality, gives everyone a chance to be successful and have the opportunity and ability to make high achievements based on one’s tolerance. Economic, social and political based views reveal the American people as a whole. Although the people view each other in different categories, the constitution gives everyone a freedom of speech and entitlements without splitting the nation into subgroups for having different political views, religions, educational attainments, and beliefs. Coming from a poor generation of families can be a major issue. Although anyone has the choice to make a change, The American Dream can be an almost impossible achievement for those in debt, search for money, financial issues, and poor quality of education knowledge. People constantly seek for a chance at having a happy life, but it’s up to that individual to make the decision. Reality can be suited as something that is very much real instead of a dream, which is an image or ray of hope that something could become real, but most likely never does. Nothing or no one can stop a person from chasing their dream if the person is willing to stand alone and work for special achievements. Some African Americans do not want to commit to chasing their dream because of the social problems the nation has as a whole. For example, when going in for a job interview, they may automatically be judged based on their color or race. In many opinions, that still should not be an issue. It may be a public issue, but it certainly shouldn’t affect the individual. It may hurt them emotionally, but physically and mentally they should have their mindset on where their pursuit of happiness is. The main goal is having the correct mindset and
