Energy drinks are a danger to human nature. Energy drinks came to human existence in the early 1900’s. The officially became big between 2000 and 2005. Energy drinks were marketed toward teenagers and young adults. The even proposed to show zero health issues! This miracle drink, on commercial usage, was able to improve the physical activity in teens. Energy drinks were then commercialized to supposedly always improve the overall performance in teens after about an hour of drinking the beverage. Caffeine is the most dangerous part of energy drinks. Adults can withstand consuming about four hundred milligrams of caffeine within a short amount of time and teenagers being less. The caffeine levels in energy drinks are so high that it takes about 7-12 days for a normal sized person’s caffeine levels to go back to normal. Over this course of time this person may have a lack of energy due to the lack of abundance of sugar in the blood stream.
