Can torture be justified?
Every single human being would be able to distinguish between right and wrong, compassion and outright brutality. In my opinion, those capable of performing torture on any living thing has a subconscious desire and affinity for doing so. I believe they enjoy it yet hide under the banner of a "necessary evil" and "for the greater good." Could you do it yourself? Then don 't suggest it for another person to have to inflict such violence. Torture is an unconventional interrogation technique that is far more effective than other interrogation techniques. Information is easily retrieved from individuals through torture. Nobody has the right to deliberately cause harm to another human with the intention of causing the maximum physical and emotional pain. It’s the most twisted, sadistic, cruel behaviour imaginable.
People might disagree with me and say that if someone had information pertaining the bomb that would kill thousands of innocent people, you would want to know about it. If they were not willing to give it up then torture would be necessary I know it is grim but is one life worth as many as thousands of lives. But these sinuous don’t occur on a daily bases. Guantanamo Bay has also been stated to as Guantánamo or GTMO which fronts on Guantánamo Bay in Cuba. When first opened in 2002 its purpose was to detain extremely dangerous people, to interrogate detainees in an ideal setting, and to prosecute detainees for war crimes. Which is highly understandable, why should these types of people be shown remorse. Did they show remorse when they were planning gruesome and murdering innocent people?
