Not everyone was Jewish that died in the Holocaust, when people think of the Holocaust, they often only think of the Jews that perished. Between 1933 and 1945, more than eleven million men, women, and children were murdered in the Holocaust. Only approximately six million of these were Jews. A lot of people were killed, about 280,000 Jews and 11,000 Roma, (or Gypsies. All of these people were killed during the pro-fascist regime of dictator Marshal Ion Antonescu. Romanian’s today are banning the Holocaust denial, and can serve up to three years in prison. Many people want many of these problems fixed, not just for protecting Jews, but to also to protect everyone. There are many first hand accounts from the Holocaust to prove against the denial of the Holocaust and many have been tattooed with their numbers. Luckily, many countries are banning Holocaust denial “It was approved late Wednesday by the chamber of deputies, the lower assembly with 237 votes in favor, 5 against, and 102 absences.” (Armellini) This evidence shows that some people truly believe that Jewish communities only want more followers. If people want to believe something that is okay as long as they do not hurt someone else 's feelings because you want to treat others the way you want to be treated. Finally, even though people think the Holocaust never happened doesn’t we should believe it never happened either. We shouldn’t deny the
