Not everyone was Jewish that died in the Holocaust, when people think of the Holocaust, they often only think of the Jews that perished. Between 1933 and 1945, more than eleven million men, women, and children were murdered in the Holocaust. Only approximately six million of these were Jews. A lot of people were killed, about 280,000 Jews and 11,000 Roma, (or Gypsies. All of these people were killed during the pro-fascist regime of dictator Marshal Ion Antonescu. Romanian’s today are banning the Holocaust denial, and can serve up to three years in prison. Many people want many of these problems fixed, not just for protecting Jews, but to also to protect everyone.
