Gun control
Guns have been around for several hundreds of years. Many people in well-known major historical events and battles have used guns for security and self-defense. In current times people tend to think that guns are the problem with society, when it’s actually the people who the guns are sold to causing the problems. Guns are by far one of the greatest things that mankind have ever invented. They have been a main source of self-safety for a long time. If the government takes guns away from its people then they are infringing on our 2nd amendment right. Whether or not we should have stricter laws on gun control have been a problem with congress has been a debate topic for a long time. The government should not be able to invade our rights and take guns away from its people.

Concealed weapon carry laws have a great chance to reduce the crime rates in most cities. Carry laws have helped prevent more than 60000 aggravated assaults a year. Since the government has not taken the people’s right to have a gun away 12,000 possible robberies of: stores, banks, other various place people would want to rob. The Gun Owner’s Foundation states that “Guns are not the problem. On the contrary, lax criminal penalties and laws that disarm the law-abiding are responsible for giving criminals a safer working environment.
The government cannot take firearms from its people because it would invade the second amendment rights given to us in the United States Constitution. If the government takes away our rights and takes are guns then everything we have worked for will be useless. The government cannot take away our weapons.
