Grass fields are better than turf fields: Artificial turf is significantly harder on the body, there’s less give which makes injury more likely to follow. Grass fields offer numerous benefits over turf fields, including environmental friendliness, improved player safety, and aesthetic appeal, making them a preferable choice for sports. Per apnews.com, “On turf fields, 16% of injuries occur per play compared to grass. Non contact injuries had a higher risk of 20% more injuries per play”.
