The traditional school calendar has been used for so long and students have always turned into very successful adults. Although the year round schedule may seem to have more advantages, there are many disadvantages hidden from readers. The traditional school calendar should be kept, as it has many benefits that the year round schedule would confine. A huge misconception is many think the children have more days of school on a year round schedule.

Even though year-round school gives students more breaks, there is no proof that it helps students academically. So traditional school is better and should stay in Florida.
Thus stating kids should get breaks anyways. After being in a classroom for months, they deserve a break. Staff and communities should take students’ opinions in mind when decide to change to an all year school schedule. Kids look forward to the break they get at the end of the school
