Alien Abductions For the past century, the entire phenomenon of alien abductions have stirred up a controversy. Are all the stories real? Could we have had encounters with extraterrestrial life? The whole idea of life existing somewhere in outer space besides Earth seems so bizarre to many, but reasonable to others. Possible abductees, UFO sightings, and the fact that the government doesn’t want you to know the truth leaves us wondering… What is going on out there? Before the stories of being abducted became a more usual, or at least more heard of, it all started with one group of people that started the whole controversy. Michael Sturma reports a related source stating, “In 1976 four students went on a camping trip… they spotted a curious bright object in the night sky...then experienced a period of ‘missing time’ in their conscious memory.”(1) Like I said before, the hills’ stories couldn’t be recalled off of memory alone, but hypnosis was attempted. The majority of her recalls were actually brought up in her dreams. In her dreams, more nightmares than dreams, she describes the aliens as a small grey being with small to non-existent ears and big black eyes. The people doing the investigation were quite skeptic because twelve days before the Hills’ story, a tv show depicted the same characteristics that they described even though they claim to have not seen the tv show. Female abductees claim to have their eggs in the uterus implanted and sperm samples were taken from the guys. The abductees also claim that they believe the aliens are warning us we are heading to our own disaster. We seem to view these extraterrestrials as either ruling, or we see them as peace to this world. If either of these are true, if anything that has been associated since the Hills’ story true, then what do we have in store? Will we obtain abnormal healing powers? Who knows, but abductees claim to have won these powers after their abductions
