What is a paranormal anyways? A paranormal is “An event or perception is said to be paranormal if it involves forces or agencies that are beyond scientific explanation.” (Carroll) So if people know what a paranormal is, what is a UFO? An unidentified flying object or also known as UFO is conceived as a probable otherworldly spaceship sightings. In the year of 1947, Kenneth Arnold alleged seeing nine space crafts when he was piloting his own aircraft. He said it was semicircular and bow shaped. When the tabloids picked it up, they had by accident said saucer shaped. So, people started calling it flying saucers from the article.
