Evaluating web pages is very important, especially when it is over such a wide-spread issue that many people go through. When researching anxiety, the websites need to be correct and helpful. Two webpages given are: What are Anxiety Disorders? and Anxiety. Out of these two webpages, the more recommended one for a student giving a speech would be Anxiety. The reason behind this answer is this webpage is just full of information of anxiety, and the student would have numerous options to choose from. This article gives one bit of information that says, “Researchers don’t know exactly what brings on anxiety disorders. Like other forms of mental illness, they stem from a combination of things, including changes in your brain and environmental stress, and even in your genes.” (WebMD, n.d. p.1). It appears this sponsor is more of an educational owner. This page gives a very clear menu on all the different information of anxiety. The page is well organized and has a good system of retaining information. In this webpage, since there also was not a direct author given, there was no political stance given by the author that was not named.
