Do you know what children soldiers are? Children soldiers are guttersnipes that are taken from their families at a young age to be soldiers and learn the ways of the rebels. They are given drugs to make them more aggressive and to do things they normally wouldn’t do. They have a leader they they are brainwashed into thinking that he is the best person ever and that they need to look up to him. The parents and family had a part in this violence and also they were young and didn’t know what they were doing, but others say that it was their choice. If it was up to you would you give them amnesty? If children are not given amnesty the aftermath could be more harsh for the children because the commanders will give them the worst jobs to do.Some may say that it’s the children's choice to do all these thing and that they should all know the consequences of what could happen after what they …show more content…
