Do you ever wonder why there are so many different species on Earth? It is because of evolution. Evolution is when a species evolves into a different species, one that is better in that particular environment. There are a lot of evidence of evolution, obtaining fossils, secondly is what we and many other species, such as embryos, is what our mother's carry in their stomach, and lastly DNA. There are a lot more evidence of evolution but I am only doing those three. Feel free to look them up if you want to know more, there are too many pieces of evidence to list. My first evidence of evolution is Embryology. Embryology is the study of embryos.(necsi.edu, 2006) When we’re in our mother's womb, in our earliest form, you can take a picture and put it by a picture of a fish in its earliest form and you would not tell the difference. It tells us that evolution did happen and that we came from a common ancestor. You can put the picture of the human embryo and set it next to a lizard embryo and again, you would not tell the difference. …show more content…
The fossil records gives us evidence of evolutionary change over many of years.(evolution.berkeley.edu,2005) You can see where a species use to live and why they evolved in the first place. You can also see which species have a common ancestor and what they look like today. For example, Humans and apes have a common ancestor, we both use our upper limbs in our daily lives. Many species share the same ancestor so it is not uncommon to have the same body structures too.(evolution.berkeley.edu,2011) Humans, bats, and dogs all have an ulna, radius, humerus, and
