Feed the Children Imagine not knowing where your next meal is going to come from, or when you’re going to get it. That’s 1 in 5 children every day here in America (“Feed the Children,” Feed). That’s why Feed the Children deserves all the donations it can get. Many think this charity only provides food and fights child hunger but, Feed the Children has four main pillars. They strive to provide feeding, education, and water and sanitation programs. They also provide programs to help people (who do not have a job) earn money (Preston). For example, 9-year-old Elmer lives in Sapang Palay. Every day he is experiencing what it is like to live in poverty. His father brings home barely thirty-five dollars a week, almost too little money to even pay the bills. Luckily for Elmer, Feed the Children started a program at his school to provide malnourished children with nutritious meals. Feed the Children has had only two complaints in the last thirty-six months and they meet the twenty standards for charity accountability (“Feed the Children,” Give).
Feed the Children has helped change the lives of people across the world. Not only do they help with malnutrition but they help with so much more, education supplies, water sanitation, they can help you earn money and get a job. These are all good reasons to donate to Feed the children because addressing child hunger is something that needs to be done and they are doing
