If there's one award that will determine if an artist is worth listening to or not, it's definitely going to be the coveted Grammy. Over time, many musicians have dreamed of capping themselves just one Grammy citation, either to reward their efforts in the work that they do or to spark interest amongst those who don't know them. The prestige of having a Grammy award perched upon an artist's belt is so much like saying that he or she possess something extraordinary, something very impressive, something worth your time. The shimmering Gramophone is just the cherry on top of the cake but the bragging rights and pride that comes along with it is what most artists are dying for. We are now listening to artists due to the unmistakable recognition they received from the illustrious Grammy Awards, and we are yet to know some others in the succeeding years.
