By looking at the reduction in the number of people without health insurance, we can say that the ACA has made noticeable progress towards its intended goal.

A new data set provides a better picture of which the tendency of certain demographics to support the concept of having a single insurance system that is handled by the government.

Even though 33% of the public says that the government should not be responsible for providing health care, they still would like programs like Medicare and Medicaid to be continued. A percentage of only 5% of the American public opposes government interfering with health insurance.
