All of us always have the same questions after any event more often after a catastrophe or after anything that has to do with politics. those questions are “why” and “what if”. With these questions, we expect for things to change and for laws to change. But I for one will not sit here and let everything that is currently happening in our country to continue. Laws have to change for the two most controversial problems we have one being laws for gun control and the other being the laws for immigration. This topic is very personal to me there’re people that are against immigration. I feel like in the past months we have stepped back in our laws towards immigration instead of going forward. Mostly with this president we have in office I feel like we have to all stand up to show that we are not happy with the ways that he is changing our laws. Most of you guys will use the ‘well they should do the things by the law’ or ‘they’ve been here for a long time they’ve had enough time to fix their legal status’ and the thing I have to say to that is don’t you think that if it was easy all of them would’ve fixe their legal status already. One of the biggest law changes that our president has done that I and lots of Americans are against is the termination of DACA which used to be a law that protected young teenagers from deportation. I am against the ending of this program because they’re teen that go to school with your children that are friends with your children and most importantly they’re also the future of our country. I find it unfair to send then to Mexico when they see this as their home most of them don’t remember Mexico most of them didn’t even get to know Mexico. We all have to step into their shoes imagine if they were your children the ones who were raised here a major part of their life and when they get to college or when they’re about to start working their career that they worked so hard on to just get told that
