A deceased person is able to become a donor and save up to four lives with these organs. A deceased person brings new life. Human spare parts can be used in the living for replacement bones, ligaments, skin, and valves. Heart valves can be preserved in freezers and used at any time in another person. A human body can be turned into 200 different pieces and be donated to 200 different people. A problem comes into play when there aren’t enough organ donors. There are 97,000 people in the US waiting for an organ. Some people have waited for an organ donation for over a decade. This is problematic when people are put on this waiting list but aren’t able to stay alive long enough to receive a matched organ donation. Many people have sold their kidney for cash here. Selling organs are illegal in India but many donor transactions are done through the black market. The people in debt need money desperately and are able to receive money from donating a kidney. They receive the money after the donation has been completed. After the surgery, not all the money can be received every time. Even if they aren’t giving them all the money there is nothing the donor is able to do.
