Kevin Durant who now seems like he has it all had a hard life growing up as a child. Growing up, Kevin Durant struggled and he was somewhat poor. His family only had a limited amount of meals, and on some nights his mother was not able to eat at all. They also moved place to place due to struggling. Growing up Kevin Durant's life was hard, his mom was a single parent of two, she struggled in many ways and forms. In a speech Kevin Durant was speaking he stated, ¨ It was so clear to me at a young age that if you didn’t get up every day and work till it was dark, you weren’t eating.
