Lesli Kelly was expecting to meet her ex-husband to get gifts he had bought for the children, she ended up being violently attacked instead.
The NY Post reports the Pennsylvania woman sat in a Penn State satellite campus parking lot where she worked to meet her ex-husband, William Kelly, who had the wrapped presents in his hand. He also had a gun.
The two talked briefly before her ex pulled the gun on the 49-year-old woman, shooting her multiple times until she was dead. Police said William turned the gun on himself after he watched his ex-wife fall to the ground in the murder-suicide.
Two students and a custodian watched their horrifying deaths take place. State police Lt. Eric Hermick said:

according to WTAE, saying William suffered from a "severe mental illness" and was was an alcoholic.
Her father, Donald Stone, was worried about his daughter's safety long before her divorce:
"He was an alcoholic. He was very abusive and he owned a lot of guns," Stone said.
Lesli's fiance, John Ward, said the couple had made at least 50 reports against the woman's ex-husband for intimidation and harassment:
"We told every cop, every judge, the lawyers, people we worked with. Everyone that knew us knew that we were in fear for her safety. And nobody would lift a finger."
Ward, who worked with Lesli saw the moment she was killed in the college campus parking lot. Her brokenhearted fiance said:
"I will never forgive the man that murdered her right in front of my eyes."
Lesli's family believe William's motive was an upcoming court date about the dad's failure to make his child support payments. The couple shared custody of two young children and also had an adult child together.
