Marriage is the foundation of all society, and so this topic is very important. Explaining marital duties to you is much easier than persuading you to do them. Conform your will to scriptural. The union between a husband and wife is so beautiful, because it stands as a picture of the union between Christ and the church. What a beautiful picture, marriage is a covenant-so God is part of every marriage.

There are many who’s already married and there are those who are thinking about getting married, it’s so important once you get married that you remain married. According to God’s word, marriage is much more than a “Contract”: Marriage is a God – made covenant. When you make a promise to God it cannot be broken. I take thee to be my lawful wedded (husband/wife), to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer in sickness and in health; to Cherish and to love, and I promise to be faithful to you until death do part us. When you made this Vow you made it until God, there is nowhere in the Bible that allow us to annual or divorce, once this vow is made God intend for you to keep it. God word clearly states that it’s better not to make a vow unto the Lord and not keep it. After making a promise to God and not keep it, is the work of a fool, such a thing leads to Gods anger and judgment. The lead to that anger and judgment. If you really love God you will keep all of his promises to him, any time you make a promise God don’t delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasures in fools; keep your vow (Ecclesiastes 5:47). Too many couples take marriages, vows lightly, and separation should never once be done causally or out of anger, this will cause you to drift farther apart until divorce take place. Divorce is not God’s perfect plan for marriage, even if it has become acceptable in the world. The word speaks “Live Joyfully with your spouse whom you love all the days of your life which he has given you under the sun – all the days of futility for that is your portion in this life and in your work at which you toil under the sun (Ecclesiastes 9:9). Getting married is a great decision of your life make sure you pay and ask God rather or not is this the right person that you should marry, this is if you are not already married.
