Even though Churches and the establishments are considered a crucial social service within the U.S., I am in favor of taxing churches because if our government was to tax church establishments then it could generate an extra 72 billion dollars that can be used for many other things people are needing like education, housing, etc. because this country can't afford giving such benefits to church establishments when other problems could be solved with the money that could be generated by taxing churches and another issue that causes concern is that this money is not regulated by anyone in how it is being spent. There is these so called “mega churches” that spend over a hundreds of thousands of dollars for things like big screen TV’s, top of the line audio systems, and even having a payroll for extra services that are based on religious practices.
