In today’s society, we see a lot of plus size women embrace themselves in the social aspects of society. We see plus size women modeling and not letting others feel bad about their size. With this we have people who can sham them into making plus size women feel bad about their weight and try to change themselves for other people. Going through the internet I tried to find a video or an article that I could analyze and discuss how people argue about this topic and that it is not just bullying. We see that people in the modeling industry have many different types of bodies. We see women walking down the runway and posing for pictures in magazines, that are obviously photo shopped, and young women aspire to look just like them; it’s unhealthy. …show more content…

I couldn’t find where it came from but it starts with a man and women, most likely a talk show in the UK. They begin talking about how the camera can add ten pounds and they go on to introduce an obese model names Tammy Kemp. They said people tell her that she should be worry about her weight, but she thinks she’s fine and it’s what is making her a fortune. Then we meet a journalist named Liz Fraser who believes that Tammy is playing a dangerous game with her health. Then she tells us that she believes that Tammy is at risk because of her weight and how the medical statistics show that she should try to become healthier because she thinks it will cause her life in the future to be very short. Tammy, being only 25 years old, thinks she is doing very well at her age making a lot of money. They asked her if health is the last thing on her mind and she goes on to tell them that she does exercise and try’s to be healthy. She said that she is happy the way she is, while Liz says that it is going to cost her later. Liz goes on to say how Tammy should take responsibility in her life and the way she “forces” people of how she looks and he she thinks it’s okay to be that weight and that people shouldn’t worry about it. Liz says they the media shouldn’t encourage people to be “morbidly obese” or anorexia but with the way people are today it sort of
