The new idea of having self-driving cars can be a pretty tricky subject to agree or disagree with. No doubt we’ll end up driving them, but is it safe? Although we do have the technology, it has its cons. It is very controversial to talk about, but after reading this, you decide how you feel. Self- driving cars should not be manufactured because it has many flaws that will be listed below. For example, it can be unsettling for some to trust the car. It could feel like you are not in control, because well, you are not in control. With all of the advanced technology we have today, you may not have an issue with this. They say, “The human drivers kept inching forward, looking for the advantage –paralyzing Google’s robot.” They go on to say, “Since 2009, Google cars have been in 16 crashes, mostly fender- benders, and in every single case, the company says, a human was at fault.” Now, that is extremely low statistics, but if the car gets confused by a human driver, then every car on the road would have to be self-driving. And, no doubt, they will be expensive and most people in poor areas could not afford these cars, let alone the cheaper cars we have today.
