Why, then, is there such an outcry over accepting refugees from places like Syria? Syrian civil war is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Half the country’s pre war population, more than eleven million people have been killed or forced to flee their country.Families are struggling to survive inside Syria, or make a new home in neighboring countries. “How many Americans today would think it right to send the slaves back to the plantation, the Jews back to Europe, the infant Superman back into space?”(MOHSIN HAMID) .Others are risking their lives on the way to United States, hoping to find acceptance and opportunity.Although accept syrian to our country can be dangerous because some one them can be terrorist, they can connect to ISIS. “Donald Trump says Syrian refugees could be taking orders from ISIS, but locals in Baltimore don’t seem too worried”.(EMILY CADE). United States is a very big country, they got a lot of land that never been touched before, so they can take advantage of these land and start building home for these refugees. “Many people say that America could do more than what they doing right now, accepting 10,000 refugees. That number is too small for a big country like the United States”.(America Press). Many states also support these refugees like Texas, California, they said that they will provide land or house for these refugees. The united States can also build temporary house in the countryside or small camp for them. More than 150,000 Syrians already live in the United States, according to census figures, and refugees who have relatives in the country are likely to be resettled with or near them. Those who do not have family in the United States are placed where jobs are more plentiful and the cost of housing is low. (
