Racism a truly horrible and despisable act. As Martin Luther King Jr. Once said “We need to learn to live with each-other as brothers or we will perish together like fools”. Racism is something that is portrayed in the Book “To kill a mockingbird”. Sadley the author of the greatly acclaimed novel, Has made her exit. But the novel will still go on as this is a great book and will be acclaimed for many long years to come. This shows us how America was at one time. It was right for Atticus to defend Tom Robinson to take a stand. The benefits of Atticus defending Tom outweighed the consequences of that action.
