People have been using the power of the wind to generate energy as far back as early 5000 B.C, where it was used to propel boats along the Nile or in simple windmills in China. Wind energy is still used and has always been a great form of energy. The world is trying to get off of dangerous versions of energy production and move to more environmentally friendly version of producing energy making wind energy a pretty good choice. Wind energy could be a good form of energy production to adopt; it is a clean and abundant form of energy production. However wind energy does have the risk of endangering the environment around the wind park and most good wind sites need to go where wind is abundant and it would be worth it to put a wind farm in affect is far away from cities, where the energy is needed. Wind energy has always been a great reliable form of energy and it should be used more today. Either way anyone feels the topic deserves to be investigated into further. …show more content…
Wind power also would increase public health and environmental health since wind energy has not ever been linked to air pollutants. Using wind energy will also limit the amount of driving we need to do to transfer our coal to places to burn it which will cut the way a majority of greenhouse gasses are produced with transportation and burning fossil fuels. Creating wind parks also preserves land because even though they take up a large area the actual wind turbine only takes up a small space on the ground leaving plenty of room for crops and grazing animals. Although wind energy is clean it has bad sides that make it less powerful it might initially
