Rap Music vs The Man Society as a whole cooperates in a unique way, when there is disapproval among a group of people, they will find a way to be heard one way or another. Human beings let out their disapproval in many different ways, but for years now people have used their cheeky vocabulary and clever diction to get their own criticism about the real world out in the open. This is what is now known as rap music which originates from the Hip-Hop culture out of the Bronx, New York. This modern and very popular genre has made its way into political affairs for decades. The same old conflict has been playing out for years, a high intense rate of police brutality or some source of racial injustice and then rap artists find clever ways to make a “fire” song about it. It’s evident that rap artists from back in the day such as, The N.W.A, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and artists from today’s age such as, J Cole, Logic, and Kendrick Lamar all have something in common, with the fact that they’re all socially conscious about the world we’re in.
