Our school teachers, the ones that taught us everything we know today like math, ELA, and science, don't even get paid more than garbage men. Teachers have to go through so much to get their jobs. From education training, to getting a bachelor's degree in teaching, it is clear that teachers are hard workers. Sadly, teachers only get paid around $38k to $79k a year. If teachers have a good paying salary, more people would be interested and willing to get a degree in Education, schools would have better retention of teachers, and teachers would work more efficiently because they feel more valued. A lot more people would be willing to go into the teaching profession if they would pay a higher amount of money.
